Growing up in South Africa in the 70s, 80s and 90s, I had a first-hand view of the injustices of apartheid, and eventually its unraveling. Witnessing the release of Nelson Mandela from prison and the first nationwide inclusive election left me with a deep appreciation for a democratic process where every voice is heard.

I was fortunate enough to enjoy a high-quality education, graduating from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Business Science. My education continued with a postgraduate diploma in accounting and qualification as a chartered accountant in South Africa. I relocated to Dallas in 1998 and became a U.S. citizen in 2010, continuing to work in public accounting initially, both in auditing and consulting. Subsequently from 2003, I have acted as CFO for various Dallas-based businesses, helping them manage, grow and invest their capital.

While I loved serving Dallas-based companies as CFO and director of operations, in 2015 I made the decision to step into the world of financial advice. Through a lot of hard work and dedication (and many 80-hour work weeks), I managed to build a thriving business that allows me to do what I love most: help others improve their quality of life and find financial freedom.
